Mom's Brownies

4 squares chocolate
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts

Melt chocolate and shortening in double boiler. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Bake in greased and floured 9X13 pan, 30-35 minutes in 350 degree oven.
