Tina's Toffee

2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 sleeve unsalted saltines
12 oz chocolate bits
Chopped nuts

Mix butter and sugar and boil 3-4 minutes. Spread saltines on cookie sheet. Pour boiled mixture over saltines and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Pour chocolate bits over and bake 35 seconds. Sprinkle with nuts and cool about 2 hours.
